Waiting until we 'feel' motivated to do something is not always the best way to get things done. Some days being active and dong some exercise is not what I really want to do. I am getting used to making self-care one of my daily timetable priorities, without waiting for it to feel right.
Do you have health goals? Have you sat down and worked out what the future vision of the healthier version of you is? You might know what you don't want to be - but can you put into words what the new you is like?
I am not a morning person. Despite the fact that starting early in your day really sets you up for success; for me mornings are challenging. I desperately want to sleep in for an extra hour (even though I set the alarm for the time I really needed to get up).
It's so easy when life gets busy and I'm juggling too much, to start noticing the problems around me, or the negative aspects of a family or colleague's personality. It's also really easy to start seeing the negatives in my own character, because I have front row seats to my success (or lack of it).
