I have only been to Valencia in Spain, but I know I love Spain. I really want to visit and see more. Valencia is a lovely city, not as big as some of the other more famous cities, but it has a beautiful old part of town, and the food is fantastic.
It's challenging to get enough sleep consistently. There never seems to be enough time in the day to do everything, and then sometimes I just get excited about a project and forget to sleep.
In a recent project, carried out in partnership with the Dementia Collaborative Research Centres, I asked General Practitioners and Registered Nurses working in General Practice (primary practice) what they thought would be a useful practical way to increase the utilisation of current evidence available in relation to dementia risk reduction.
It's so easy when life gets busy and I'm juggling too much, to start noticing the problems around me, or the negative aspects of a family or colleague's personality. It's also really easy to start seeing the negatives in my own character, because I have front row seats to my success (or lack of it).
Yesterday I lost my car keys. Constantly trying to find things takes up important thinking space, causes stress and wastes an awful lot of time. I wasted hours looking for my keys and many more mental hours thinking about possible reasons for their disappearance.
